ADAM SLOCUM

FOUNDER / EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Adam believes in game-changing ideas and the power of people working together to make the world a better place. His experience with sports-themed social entrepreneurship and sports and entertainment technology dates back 25 years. He has founded, worked at the VP level, or consulted for 10 different sports and entertainment startups, such as Sports Simulation, Cybersports, Disruptive Apps, Monsterful VR and SporTech Ventures, as well as 2 sports-themed non-profits, including Players for the Planet. His combination of business and non-profit experience along with his innate creativity, collaborative spirit, and audacious persistence provide him with a well-rounded base of knowledge and conviction. Essentially, he has a for-profit mind with a non-profit heart. He holds a B.A. from Amherst College and dual master’s degrees – an M.S. in Sport Management from UMass-Amherst and an M.B.A. from NYU Stern majoring in Management & Entrepreneurship with a focus on Sports, Entertainment, Media & Technology. He was a four-year starter on the Amherst College varsity soccer and baseball teams and played baseball professionally in Canada, Australia and The Netherlands, competing against players who represented their countries in the Olympics and World Baseball Classic. Other experiences include work as a small business consultant for NYC’s Economic Development Corporation assisting Lower Manhattan’s small business community post-9/11; a high-needs schoolteacher/tutor in Brownsville, Brooklyn (PS 41) as part of the NYC Teaching Fellows program; and a baseball coach at the youth, high school and college levels.

OLGA KIRSHENBAUM

DIRECTOR / TREASURER

Olga brings 10 years of accounting experience, working in creative industries including visual effects, e-book publishing, hospitality, and advertising. After a decade of corporate life, Olga decided to fulfill her entrepreneurial spirit and started a money coaching business, Rags to Riches Consulting, where she helps creatives maximize their money choices and opportunities in their lives and businesses. She has written a book called “Shmoney Guide: Making Money Choices Doesn’t Need to Be So Scary”, and also hosts a podcast called “9 Minutes of Creative Wisdom”, where she speaks to creatives about business, money, and a sprinkle of fun. Olga’s love of sports started from watching hockey and soccer games with her grandfather in Russia. After moving to the US, she followed the NBA with her dad. Still a hockey fan, Olga supports the Pittsburgh Penguins and her favorite player, Sydney Crosby.

FRANZ ARCHIBALD

DIRECTOR / VP


Franz Archibald believes in the power of sports to inspire individuals and serve as a positive transformational agent in society at large. Franz is a Product Strategy and Business Development executive with 20 years’ experience in FinTech and Financial Services. He advises firms on go-to-market ventures and business expansion, strategic pivots, branding and innovation, workgroup culture, product development and intellectual property asset monetization initiatives. Previously, Franz was a senior member of Bloomberg's Corporate Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions team and the Global Head of Product Strategy for BGC PartnersMarket Information Services division, which oversaw the commercial rights to the intellectual property of one of the world’s largest fixed-income and derivatives trading platforms. Prior to this, Franz was VP of Product Development at Cantor Fitzgerald. In addition, he served on Standard & Poor's U.S. Treasury Indices Committee from 2010 - 2012. He has also served as an expert advisor to industry studies undertaken by consulting firms such as Bain and McKinsey. Franz began his Wall Street career with J.P. Morgan. Franz holds an M.B.A., Economics & Investment Management and an M.S., Finance from Drexel University. His undergraduate degree from Northwood University is in Finance with a minor in Accounting.



JACK NIGGLI

CURATORIAL ASSISTANT / SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Jack is a recent graduate from UMass-Amherst with a dual degree in Sport Management and Communications, with a certificate in Film Studies. He's always admired and pursued the creative process, and respects what it takes to produce media that resonates, and respects, its audience. More specifically, Jack's become especially interested in turning his post-graduate studies, and career ambitions, towards that of archival work and records management; he has a strong desire to explore a career concerning the distribution, democratization, and preservation of worthwhile, informative media.
